need some urgent help here... i just installed .825 on my pc.. also updated my bb desktop manager... i wiped my fone... and opened loader.exe but it cannot find the software, it says the blackberry desktop software does not have blackberry device software... im using 9900 i did download the Latest 9900 Official OS 7.1.0.825 from Vodafone DE how come its not detecting?

Yes, as I said earlier there is definately an improvement in signal strength. Best for me so far anyway.

Everyone is reporting great battery life but mine is not so great. Took off the charger this morning at 9:30 am and now at 2:40 I am at 50%. I have hardly used my phone. I will give it a couple of more days.

well been on this OS for a few days was on .794 before

overall battery the same, lasts a good day with 40% left and end of day

but i have noticed messages like 'sim not registered' various 'SOS signal readings. This disappoints for me!

i may roll back to .794 if this continues.

i agree. even if you power the device off or disable then hibernate its still going to use 3-5% per day. and that's just being a paper weight.

I can confirm this!
I noticed on the first day I installed this build on my device that I had 28 days of battery life to go!
This OS does my taxes, rubs my feet, and tucks me in at bedtime as well!
A must have!

Awww. He's just being conservative. His ADR is actually 0.028 with extremely heavy use.

Your battery may be old. You may need a new one. My one and half year old battery had huge drains in the two weeks before i replaced it. It would drain from 100% to battery dead in about 4 hours.
