    I got a new 9780 sent to me from Rogers to replace my current phone that has the keyboard stutter issue. The person on the phone said that they would send me a new phone, but the one they sent me is a refurbished phone...is this standard procedure?

    Sometimes, a tested refurbished phone is better than a brand new phone with some surprises. Especially when it comes to the 9780

    If they're like VZW, you're entitled to a "certified like-new" replacement. could be worse:
