Really? No one can help me out here?
I would say up to $300 if that.
A piece or together?
What brand and size are the extended batteries and for old are they?

That 300 is prob best for both
Yeah I meant that price for both phones.
With all the new Blackberry phones being released in the near future, I would say $150 at best for both phones and accessories. In this age of technology and its rapid turn around, phones are like cars and lose their value as soon as you walk out of the store. Good luck
$100 to maybe $150 for the lot right now, Sept/Oct less, by xmas way less. I'm not expecting much for mine when the time comes and it is mint condition with lots of extras.

You might pull $150.00 for both to the right person. I've got a 9650 that I'm very fond of, however, the reality of the situation is that they are severely outdated and more or less worthless in a business application if viewing .pdf's are part of your job.
My BB can't even open a 4.5mb .pdf that was generated by Adobe and I'm running the latest bundle package from RIM on it...
...I forwarded the same email to my wife's BB Curve and it burped on the attachment as well.
Being one of the last people on a BB at my company I've been ribbed a bunch over the last two years about my phone choise...
...The last straw for me was when I got the aforementioned attachement.
...When in a car with an iphone and Driod user who got the same attachment I did.
...And their devices opened it up w/out any problem.
The iphone guy now calls my BB "A Fisher Price Phone"!
God I hope RIM wakes up and gets back into the game because I really like the menus on the BB's, the battery life, the way it does email but not being able to open an adobe pdf is a game ender for me.
I would suggest craigslist - as far as a texting and simple email device the BB's rock for sure....
...Someone with kids would buy them for sure.
BB's are now being advertised on shows like Teenwolf ( that pretty much sums it up ) - it's a great teene-bopper phone because it takes great pictures has a great battery for lots of texting and are well built. Business minded folks have all but left them. Or would it be better to say RIM left the business folks.
@pythons
The problems that we have with sending/receiving/opening large attachments are due to BIS and not the phone itself. (Granted, can't have one without the other)
RIM is updating BIS and addressing these issues the Updated BIS will be available to the new os7 phones. They haven't decided wether or not to include older phones in the update as well.
If they don't include the older phones they should lower the price on the "old" BIS. I won't be very happy paying full price for half the functionality.

$150.00 for both phones is ridiculously low.. They are all over ebay and the forums for $125.00 to $150.00 a piece..
You will find a buyer.
Thanks for educating me as to the reason I can't open work related attachments in emails...
...I assumed if I wasn't using Blackberry exchange and used a simple pop acct I would bypass that.
...Evidently not.
They should have updated that a long time ago but that is GOOD NEWS....
...Because I would like to stick with RIM given my time with the device already.
...I like many things about the Berry.
* Outstanding phone with excellent call quality ( far exceeds Apple and Droid )
* Outside of Nextel the BEST speaker phone on any phone I've witnessed.
* Berry's are very well built and LAST far past the normal 2 year mark of most other phones.
* Very fast to navigate around in with outstanding native applications such as password keeper, calendar, etc.
* Battery life second to none in my view.
* Frankly the best keyboard ever invented on a phone.
* Very happy with the display on my 9650.
Now for the bad.
If you need to view pdf's from time to time the Blackberry is near to worthless....
...You would be better off to borrow a kids i-pod whenever you needed to do anything pdf related.
You told me the reason this is ( BIS ) and I appreciate that however that leads to a question I have about it...
...Does the Playbook run on the same BIS as the current Rim devices such as my 9650?
If not why does the Playbook puke on pdf's a kid with an i-pod has no problem opening?
...Will this BIS be "updated" to coincide with the release of the 9900 /30 units?
The reason I ask that is because I've already confirmed the Playbook, as it stands right now can't process PDF's.
...That an ipod can open.
And this is simply from opening a website on a wireless connection and clicking a link containing a pdf....
...Such as the following.
PlanMaryland
How does BIS effect someone opening the above URL on a Playbook?
Agreed!
I would like nothing more then to see RIM pull itself out of the mess it's in....
...And be in the running for top of the line business mobile devices.
However as it stands at this point the best they can hope for is a solid place for Adults kids as a good phone with battery that can text....
...For business the Blackberry frankly sucks and can't do a fraction of what an Apple device can.
...I'm one of the people who wants to see this change and change fast.
Thanks for the information on BIS dairyberry - I will have to read up on that and educate myself....
...I'm the type of user who just want to use the phone and not really know how and why it works.
My guess is that's why they are all over ebay......
...I bought one (9650) for a friend who lost their bold over the side of a boat.
...And paid $60.00 for it off Craigslist.
The Blackberry is no longer considered a "serious business communication device"...
...I'm in the same boat with a 9650 and BB Style.
As far as a solid phone goes I don't think a person could do any better than a RIM device so it for sure has value...
...Just not the type of value back when it was still considered a "business mobile device".
...The reality of the situation is it's a great kids phone.
I'm not sure how the connectivity of the PlayBook works because I don't have one. I assume that it also connects through BIS or BES.(This is how RIM provides its second-to-none security)
If so it would have the same download restrictions as the phones. (Again assumptions)
For your pdf needs there are some apps in AppWorld for downloading and viewing pdfs. They might be able to bypas the BIS system and allow you to bring in and view larger ones.
Also, if you're looking to get the most business use from the BB it's my understanding that BES is the way to go. A BB coupled with BES is a powerful business tool. I base this statement on what I have infered from other coments I've read. I have no working knowledge of how BES really works.

Yep, hundreds of 9650s for sale on fleabay now starting at $60 and the market will be flooded with them in the next month or so after the new phones hit the stores.
For reading .PDFs on your BlackBerry, try Documents to Go 2 Premium Edition for only $14.99 at dataviz.com which includes PDFs to Go and sure beats the heck outta trying to read PDFs as jpegs. :D
Documents To Go for BlackBerry Smartphones: Word, Excel and PowerPoint on your BlackBerry Smartphone
One of the best business BB app deals out there and there is even a free trial to see if you like it first. ;)
I seem to remember reading that the Bold 99xx will come with the premium version of Doc to Go pre installed.
Can someone confirm this or did I missunderstand and it will have the same limited version that the curent BB come with.

I think someone needs to do more research, even $150 for both is "pushing" it.
Not so much, somebody needs to do what their saying.. I personally have not seen one sell for $60.00 period. I personally have seen 2 sell in the last week on two different forums for over $125.00. EACH!
Just callin it like i see it.. You should go look around. And i imagine if you want some scaly old busted piece you can prob get one at those prices..
But we could go on and on about "i saw this or that" in the end list them and see what you get.
Don't know that it has been confirmed to include the Premium Edition of Docs2Go, but who knows maybe it will. For fifteen bucks you can have it and start using it now, then move it to another phone later. :)
As for the price I quoted on fleabay, that was a "Buy It Now" price of $60, bid prices start at $.99 of course, but I have no idea of carrier, condition or accessories, however there are more than 450 of them now and more every day, so prices will be dropping quickly, sell now if you plan to sell. ;)
I do know that the 9650 is on the EOL list for Sprint, and that alone brings the price down even on a brand new phone, not to mention a used one. I hope the OP gets what they ask for. Good Luck :)
Pythons; I cannot speak to a 4.5MB PDF, as I don't seem to have one to hand to try, but I do have a 1.25MB PDF in my email that the Playbook will open with no difficulty, once it downloads. The download can take a moment, depending on cell service, obviously.
Also on the PB's memory is a 2.5MB PDF which opens all but instantly.
I agree with the problems the 9650 has in opening these documents, but am a lot less worried about it with the Playbook to back up the phone. the 7" screen is a lot better to read off of than even the iPhone or droid as well, by the way.
