I am on the fence about this one

It's kind of hard to have a preference between two phones that aren't even relased yet, for me personally anyways. They seem pretty similar from what I have read/seen. Also, it will depend on what carrier you have, as to which device will be available to you. Rumour has it Tmo will not get the Bold at all, but will only carry the Javelin, for example....

(this is just what I have heard, so don't get mad guys )

The Bold is the spiritual successor to the 8800 by the way. If the Javelin is anything, it is the spiritual successor to the Curve. It's holding onto the same side-rail design and separated key-style-keyboard leads me in that direction anyway.

Bold- Touching keys, similar size and overall appearance to the 8800, device looks too big for its own screen like the 8800.

Javelin- Separate keys, not sure of size, but the appearance is more like the Curve with the same black side-rails, screen appears to fit the device better, like the Curve. 3.2 megapixel camera sounds like it is aiming to be a more media/consumer friendly device like the Curve. (Bold's camera is 2mp)

From the pictures it looks to be the curve replacement with better camera, I definitely like the smaller device, just wish it were 3G.

Remember the talk of a Niagara too? I wonder if the Javelin is the T-mo version, and Niagara is 3G other carrier version?

The Bold is the obvious choice because of the 3G, but a 3.2 MP camera is pretty ****ing sweet!
