I've been using wi-fi and my phone has been coming up much faster than that, although obviously I don't have an iphone to compare it to.

Tried a few blogs, that have tonnes of images, and I can't complain at the speed.

I have both the Bold and the iPhone and in my experience so far the Bold is painfully slow at loading pages even on WiFi.

I never really intended to use the device for browsing but still.

@gasgetgirl05 have you changed any of the setting or was the speed good out of the box?

The speed was good out of the box, bit scared to mess with settings just in case I mess it all up.

I haven't tried what it is like with 3G, and likewise I never bought it to replace a computer for browsing.

And in comparison it much faster than any mobile internet speed I have had prior.

I have tried the iphone and bold - bold a little slower in wifi hot spot in starbucks but nothing huge.

Under edge, my iphone is still faster than my old berry and it's loading full web pages...lol. But under 3G and wifi it flyssss...it's superfast and very enjoyable to surf the web on it

on the bold or the iphone? My iphone doesn;t get service in some places of my house, and wifi still works.

that thing about not being able to go on WiFi and have a cell signal can't be true. Why would a manufacturer make a phone that can't get phone calls if you are on WiFi?? My 8800 could do that.
