    Also, use whichever has the strongest signal: 2G or 3G (which may change from place to place).

    1. Turn off Bluetooth and GPS if you're not using apps that need these.
    2.Reduce screen brightness (maybe down to like 30)
    3. Set your application refresh times to lower settings
    These are main ones which will definitely improve battery life.

    well for facebook, go into the facebook app,menu button,options. at the bottom you'll see check for new feeds, that's what they mean by setting it to refresh at a longer time it does save your battery for time, i myself have it sent for every 3Hrs, same goes for twitter

    Each application is different, but generally when you are in the application you go into Options (hit the BlackBerry button to pull up options) it will give you an option to set the update or refresh interval.
