Correct phonegeek. They said that they are going to distribute .111 on either Monday or Tuesday to the testers. The manager I spoke to, who is also the Regional Manager for the enitre East Coast said that they have started to brand devices as well. My guess is to expect the Bold at AT&T anywhere between the 11-18 of August, but don't take my word for it it's just my guess from the info I have gotten. From the way it looks, it looks like we might see a simultaneous launch with the Bold a la the iPhone. I really thought Canada was going to get this before us, but it doesn't look like that anymore. I guess RIM knows where its bread is buttered.Thanks for the info but they haven't even rolled out .111 software to the field testers yet. We just go .107 on 7/29. I doubt there are huge differences but they are likely tweaking the battery life issue at this point...

08-02-08 10:48 PM - this is what i was waiting for-- plausible and verifiable information. phonegeek will know within a few days if he gets the OS update... and if he does, we know the bold is coming extra super soon. barring further unexpected delays, of course.
still, i hope very badly that this is true. every at&t employee i've talked to has told me "i don't know anything" or "they're having some problems with the battery" or some nonsense. i was never lucky enough to talk to a regional manager, though.08-03-08 03:18 AM
