When I went to the Sprint store last week to take a peek at the new BB Tour (which I didn't get to see because Sprint didn't have any units in) I brgan to peruse the other phones there to waste time. I started to wonder, if I had to get another phone and couldn't choose a blackberry, what would I choose. I liked the Palm Pre, but I have a serious adversion to touchscreen phones, which also cancels out the iphone. I like the T-mobile dash 3G and the Samsung Jack because they look like BBs. I couldn't get a Nokia because the OS is flaky. I really can't say what phone I would choose if BlackBerry was not an option. I would hate to see myself as a Motorola Q user, but I don't know. How about you guys?

Real toss up for me, I played around with the G1 in its early days, and if Android had launched on a platform more suited to my needs, well I might not be a BlackBerry addict today. I've always liked the iPhone, but I really think it would depend on the next generation of Android devices to be released.
I had a Palm Treo 750 (winmo) before my berry. I'd go back. Yeah, its a touch screen, but it has a physical keyboard too. And there's nothing you can do on the touchscreen that can't be done with the keyboard. Truth be known, I really miss my touch screen.
But, if there were no berry, and Sprint wasn't complete garbage (at least here) I'd go with a Palm Pre.
