    A BlackBerry Bold 9700 (with trackpad) with a working PIN that will work with active data services. Does anyone know how I could get one other than trying to find a legit eBay auction?

    I've pretty much accepted that I'll have to wait... but man, the things I'd do to get this device NOW...

    A fully functional 9700 starts at $800. I know quite a few people who just purchased quite a few 9700's & 9520's for $800 a piece.

    I'm with CX, around 800 seems to be the going rate. They are around. One word of caution, sometimes these prerealease devices will work fine now, but they have their PIN's blocked upon the actual release. Buyer beware.
