I hover between 30 and 45 MB and have let it go for as long as a week before. I'm pretty sure I've never gone more than a week without an uninstall that required a reboot. I do a lot of cache clearing and checking for running apps I can close, but nothing's usually really prompts me to do them more often than that. My phone's always pretty speedy.

I have a Bold with OS .247. I had .168 and I had only 32MB of memory when rebooting. Now,after the .247 update I start with around 45 MB. For 120 hours I haven't done a battery pull (actually, it's QuickPull).I still have aroun 19 MB of free memory and the phone's stable - i'm riding it hard with browsing, messaging, emails, music&pictures all day long. I'll keep you posted.

It should go up and down. If it continually drops, then something else is wrong.

I would say the approx 30MB is good, the phone operates just fine at that level. The memory junkies will disagree.

Thanks.. I downloaded quickpull but have not used it yet.. mainly wanted it so that if I ever freeze up I can just do that instead of actually pulling out the batt

If it freezes, you'll still have to pull the battery (it's frozen, remember?). Quickpull is good for restarts when the phone is not froze up. Some think it's worthless, I think it's a clean little app.

ah of course..didn't even think about it that much...either way.. it might come in handy and if it doesn't I can always remove it.
