POE, I saw your thread title and laughed out loud!

My uptime is not good because I deleted an app recently.... can't quite remember when.

Remind me how to find uptime and I'll hang out with you and not pull my battery day after day after day....

    My memory is currently 44.0MB.

44MB after that much uptime? I had no running apps in those screenshots. This is going to be tough.

I rarely need to do one, but it does seem to help my memory when I do.

But my memory doesn't seem to drop over time, so uptime doesn't really matter.

I can't do fancy screenshots like you, but I attached a shot of my memory.

Oh, what the heck, I'll play too. I rarely do resets anyway unless it's requied by an app install/delete. Even then, I never check my memory anymore...

I restarted about 5 hours ago (installed the newest Blockberry by papped) and am currently sitting at 36.1mb.

KB, whenever you get a chance, could you let me know exactly how many 3rd party apps you have running?

And I already know Kronk has about 453 of them lol

For the sake of your motherboard, do a battery pull mang.

Well, I'm going to see how long I can go without doing a battery pull. After reading about us memory degenerates being too concerned with memory, KareBare has inspired me to see how long I can go without doing this. After she told us in another thread about how her memory stays pretty good without a battery pull for at least a week, I'm going to see how long before I feel I need to do a battery pull. Here's my uptime so far. I'll try to keep posting screenshots of uptime and memory to see how far I can go.

The screenshots are about an hour within eachother.

On my Pearl, I used mine normally (texting, browsing, emailing, all that good stuff) for around three weeks and ran my memory down to less than 1MB and it was running perfectly! It's all in how you manage your apps and so forth!

Take the battery out with the phone ON.

    You probably keep apps running.

I'm sure I have hardly any compared to a lot of you. Plus I'm not quite sure what counts as an app.... This may or may not be a full list:

    AntairCallScreener
    AutoStandby
    BerryBuzz
BB App World and BB Maps (do they count?)
    Capture It
    Garmin Mobile
    Google Mobile App
    Traffic Eye
    Viigo
    Weatherbug

I have launchers too like CB.....not sure if that's an app. And obviously BBM and all the usual BB stuff.

I think that's it. I don't have any social chitchat apps - can't stand facebook and twitter and all that stuff - so maybe that helps. And when I don't like an app, I delete it rather than disable it. Like, I hated the pop-up email apps I tried, so deleted them even though I paid for them.

And NO THEMES! I hate themes.

Come on, man! This is a thread devoted to no pulling!

Just kidding. But really - fix the leak. Don't manage and mask it by pulling your battery all the time. At least, that's my suggestion.

I just made a big mistake I think. I saw that I never had deleted WordMole. Well I deleted it and my phone prompted a restart. I declined. The app doesn't show anymore but I'm getting this feeling that my phone is going to act up if this thing isn't fully deleted. I'm going to tough it out....
