Can someone please help me? I just upgraded my device os to v6 but when I tried using wifi it does not work anymore, and when I try to download themes, its saying that I need to disable content protection of my device, and I don't know how. I'm using this device for more than 2 years now, but when I upgraded it to v6 thinking that the device will become much better, it became WORST. Please help.

Do you have an active BlackBerry Data Plan from your phone service provider for the device?

If not, then you probably lost the Service Books.

Hi, thanks for the reply, I'm just using a prepaid line, so does that mean that as long as I have v6 on my phone I cannot use wifi? or even download from BB World? When I upgrade other devices that I have, it becomes better, but with Blackberry, its the opposite.

Best thing to do is to downgrade to v5.0.0.714... And it worked... Finally, someone answered my questions... Myself....

What device when upgraded turns into a total mess? Blackberry 9700.

Why so many people ask questions about their BBs? Because BBs is not as friendly as you think.
