I totally know how you guys feel... It seems so silly, but I swear I love this phone so much. I am constantly just holding it, looking at it in awe, it truly is one of the best phones I've ever used, and definitely the king of BlackBerry's. I love all the functionality, communication abilities, and UI - I just love it all. I know how silly I sound, but I have never loved a device as much as I love my 9700!!!

When discussing my phone, I have become fond of using this re-purposed quote:

"From my cold, dead hands!"

This is my first blackberry device ever so I was excited yet skeptical about getting one but I can't get enough of it. I've went through every phone known to man( iPhone,My Touch, Motorola Cliq,HD2) and my Bold 9700 trumps them all!! Love it love it

I upgraded to a blackberry this year and haven't looked back! Last time I upgraded I went with the iPhone over the Blackberry and regretted it. Blackberry does everything I want it do do and more!

Been through quite a few phones, from reliable dummy phones to iPhone, couple Andriods and now other Berries in Storm1 and 8100...by far the best phone/tool/entertainment device I have ever had...going strong for half a year and still in love with it!

I would say I don't agree with your AT&T store folks but you have to decide that for yourself.
