Hiya,

First question post, sorry if all this has been covered before!

I ran a backup yesterday and have done a restore today after playing around with my contacts and getting in a mess. After I restored my only video was missing but photo's were still there, icons that I'd hidden in the menu (like weather setup) now no longer seem to exist at all anywhere. There is no option to show all and other things that I've never used before like blackberry help that weren't hidden have gone missing too. Any ideas?

I would try a battery pull. If no luck there, try another restore.

Yeah definitely pull the battery and see iff the icons show up. I don't usually have a problem when I restore.

I just wanted to post a reply and bring closure to this thread in case any one else gets the same problem

I'm still not sure why this happened but it was solved by my carrier (3) by resending my service book. After that everything was back to normal.
