I've realised tonight when i've gone to change my default volume for calls because its to low for me, that when I go Menu/Options/General Options, there is no General options to choose. Which means I cant get in to change the default call volume and everything else that is under the general options.

Running Bold with v4.6.0.247 (Platform 4.0.0.206)

Any ideas anyone?

You need to go to Menu/Options/Phone Options/General Options.

Nope Phone Options arent there either.

Also I did read that link, I've had the user guide for quite a while but only just looked it up, Thats how I found out these things are missing.

Where did you get your Bold from? Who's your carrier? What OS are you running?

Ah HA I just found the answer on another site and it is:

Press the green call key - as if answering a call, then select the menu key, then options, then general options is within that

Why its like that I dont know, but somehow in the upgrades since the user guide came out its been moved.

Anyway this solution works so I'm happy now I know where it is.

THANKYOU "Refund" for making this post.

I was having the same issue with no "General Options" in "Options."
I had been sprawling for over an hour in search of something that would allow me to change the Default Call Volume.

...Luckily, Somehow, I found your post, and you answered my problem.

That was incredibly frustrating. I like this phone alot (8330 Curve), But sometimes the tinkering that's involved to perform small changes/tasks makes me want to yell a listing of expletives.
