Instead of tapping on the trackball to zoom-in, and then zoom-out...RIM (or a 3rd party add-on, if possible) can work on maybe s'thing like click-n-holding a button (space button, for eg) and then zooming in and out using the track ball...kind of like how we do using the wheel portion of a mouse when zooming in and out of Google Maps.
    Up for zoom-in
    Down for zoom-out.

That'd make browsing on BB bold's (and other blackberry's sporting a trackball) much better.

I kind of like that idea. But I don't think there's any way for us to modify the browser itself

I just press "i" for in and "o" for out. It's always worked for me.

Why would you want to do something that requires both hands?

I rarely need to zoom in or out *that* much.

To the OP, BTW, "I" & "o" work for in and out in Google Maps as well.

hmmm...I didn't know that, i'll try it out.
I just thought that using the trackball would make the experience more "seamless".

Having to use both hands at once always feels awkward.
