When i go o general settings for browsing, i want to be able to browse in 3g, edge, gprs or whatever and not wifi, but it is only giving me the options for " hotspot " when i go to change default browser and whatnot.

Any ideas?

Do you have a BB data plan? It sounds as if you don't.

You have the plan but it's not activated? What?

I would give your carrier a call and confirm that they have your account provisioned with a BB data plan. I think the reason you aren't getting those other options is because you do not have the service books that says you are allowed those services, which would indicate you may not have a BB data plan.
