How do I turn off auto fetch on email? I know on my old iPhone I could tell it to only fetch email when I opened up the app, or I could tell it to automatically fetch it every so man minutes/hours. Can I do this on my Bold 9900? If so, how do I do so? All these notifications are driving me crazy and it's draining my battery.

You can't really turn this off. It's a push email system.

But what you can do is modify your profile so that the alerts you receive are less annoying.
What mode is your BB usually set to? Normal, Vibrate, etc?

If you can into the Sounds Profiles, you can set emails to no alert, a shorter single vibration, or a more discreet tone. Sounds like no alert for email, but still leaving on the LED might be right for you.
