    I posted this in one of my threads, but I thought it would be helpful for other boldcrackheads like me:

    If you take your lcd out, there are three methods (because there are three different types of lcds) that you use to tell.

    take a look at this picture and if the back of your lcd looks like one of them, then you will be able to find which number corresponds to your lcd

    Well my LCD screen just died, the phone itself is still able to start up and is detected by DM but screen stays dead. It seems i have the 001/004 type.

    What is the general difference between the 3 types of LCD screen's?
