Hello I have a Bold 9780 which has a faulty mainboard and I cannot use the warranty as I have no proof of purchase because I bought the phone in a used condition. I have a new mainboard and now all I need to do Is to replace all the parts from my faulty bold 9780 to the new mainboard. I was just wondering if the sim module is soldered onto the mainboard? because I have a special mobile pcb soldering kit but not sure if its worth me soldering it off so I bought a new sim module instead. Just need to know do I need to solder it in place? Sorry for writing an essay just over a simple question.
