Believe it or not, being a BB addict I probably would pay a lot. And I mean a lot! I definately would pay 500 and up. Yes that how much a addict I am. But I heard its suppose to be around $300ish with At&t with new contact or renewal.

You should put a $500 plus above on your post.

Without contract are you serious?! There is no way that would EVER happen. Even the Curve has a $500 retail price without a contract

I think I'll hang on to my old 8820 until I have to renew my contract on march 14, 2009. I'm counting down the days!!!! I will probably only pay $200-350 for it though.

I presume those options are Dollars rather than Pounds? and also that you are talking about an unlocked (rather than a contract) model?

Like a lot of prospective buyers, I am personally only interested in an umlocked SIM free Bold, for which I would be prepared to pay �300 ($600).

Going on the pre-release prices currently being quoted 'over here' though, I am not going to be able to pick one up for that sort of figure, so have now almost decided to look elsewhere for the moment.

Hopefully by early 2009 prices will have settled down to more sensible levels.

Well I guess I am in a strange position here. I have the bold and didn't pay a dime for it. One of the perks of being a volunteer device tester and employee at ATT. I like the device so much though I am going to have to buy one for my wife. How much? I'll probably be willing to go $350 with contract....
