i know it has not been made official so there will be no official answers but any ideas what it will cost on AT&T? i just went to rogers website to do a ratio comparison i.e.(9000 retail vs. 9700 retail) to see how much the difference will be approximately and the 9000 white or black are $650 and 9700 is $600 why would it be cheaper? lol can we expect to see same general trend here in the states?

I am not up for an upgrade but my fiance is going to be taking my 9000 so ima be paying retail for the 9700 when it comes out.

There are no official answers (you already answered yourself in your first sentence) so any answers that are written are guesses, thus this thread will not given you the answers you're looking for.

Most likely, everything about it is built on 2 year old technology(other than the trackpad) electronic prices go down as things get easier to build, right now their prolly just trying to move old gen hardware to make room for 2010 hardware at their manufacturers.
