Highlight the bar that has the date, select Delete Previous from the menu,

If you want to delete all of them, scroll to the top, then press menu and delete prior. you can do that by any date, anytime there is a date change, highlight the date and then do the same.

Or you can press and hold the ALt key i believe and then scroll down and it it will highlight a group then press the delete/backspace key.

I didn't know about delete prior, thanks! I actually just got my first BB last month. And you were close to right; hold the shift key and scroll through the list. This will highlight the messages. Hit the menu key and select delete.

open Messages, go to Options from the menu, scroll down to SMS and Email inboxes and change to separate.

I cant find "Sms and Email inboxes"??

Ok well I found out how to delete... I had to oped the convo, and "clear history"... Kinda weird...
