    Hi,

I just purchased my first Bold and love it, but I am not able to find my downloads to my 8 gig chip via my bold. I connect it to my computer and can see the songs/video and etc, but when I go to access it on my phone it is not under songs/videos downloads or anywhere.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks, Mike

Go to options-memory. Do you have media card support and mass storage mode turned on? If so and you're looking for music, go to media-music-all songs. Or if its pictures go to media-pictures-my pictures.

    Hi,

I appreciate your reply, but I have attempted that and the only thing that shows up is the normal pre-loaded songs or the ones that I did load directly to the memory of the phone prior to installing the 8 gig chip. It is frustrating.

    HELP...

Not asking to frustrate further, but have you formatted the media card?

    Actually, no...options>memory>(menu)>format card...

Anything on the card will be erased, but the card will be ready to be used with the bb...

    That should solve your issue...

Yes, formatting slipped my mind. Make sure you have media card support on and mass storage mode too. You may have saved the pictures to your phone. Plug it in via usb to the computer and go to my computer, then select D drive. Look in both for your pictures.
