Got it recently in asia, how do I know if its unlocked? Thanks, and looking foward to be a BB user!

Hi,

Here is how to check if it is unlocked.

On your BB go to Options then Advanced Options and then Sim Card.

Type MEPD. (Nothing will come up on the display as you are typing but after you type MEPD a menu will come up.)

If your device is unlocked it should come up as being Disabled or Inactive (Beside Network). If it says Active, your device is locked.
