You don't seriously expect Rogers to sell a phone that could be used for VoIP?
The closest you are likely to get is Talkspot support at some future date.

GetJar: Free Java, Symbian, Windows Mobile, BlackBerry, Palm and Flash Lite mobile games and applications

I am not sure if the Roger's Bold supports UMA. But if it did / does... then you do not need any third party apps.
Now that I think about it, I have not heard of the Bold having UMA
not 100% sure though

about a year ago. Theri service is aimed at international calls. It is not free but for international it is much cheaper than regular cell phone tarifs.
