    So i bought a used Blackberry Bold Unlocked. I want to do a reload the phone with a fresh OS 4.6.0.247. How can i restore it to everything back to Factory Reset?
    Do i just download and follow this ? :

    * Applications: 4.6.0.247
    * Software Platform: 4.0.0.206
    * File name: 9000M_PBr4.6.0_rel418_PL4.0.0.206_A4.6.0.247.ex e
    * File size: 114MB

    Download here: hxxp://upload.simobil.si/9000M_PBr4.6.0_rel418_PL4.0.0.206_A4.6.0.247.exe

    1. Download the above OS file to the PC then install it to the PC by running (double clicking) the file you downloaded.
    2. Go to c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
    3. Plug in BB and double click on "Loader.exe." It's located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file

    if you want to restore everything back to factory default, go to options>memory menu and format. note that this will remove all your applications, themes, etc. pretty much everything that is stored on your phone and not your microsd. so backup your phone, and yes after its back to factory settings you just do your steps you stated to update to .247 os

    you also dont need to format your phone everytime you install a new os, its fine if you just go straight to it

    Menu - Options - Security Options - General Settings - Menu - Wipe Handheld .

    Make sure you backup the phone before wiping it ....

    Hello.. I have a problem with my 9000. I know, it is old, but has been good and it is my backup phone. While updating the OS, there was a network interruption and now it wont boot. I get a message that says "reload Software 507".

    How do I do this?
