    I'm an iMac user trying to use Blackberry Desktop Software to do a security wipe/reset. My Bold 9900 is completely dead - touch screen stopped working the the track pad too, so can't do it on the device. Any help appreciated - cheers!

    plug it in without a battery and follow the steps, update then repair.
