How can I reset the BlackBerry Bold 9900?

Love my phone , been great for years, it froze the other day & wouldnt boot up all the way...it only booted up have way across the screen then it froze, I have took the battery out and still wont boot up. Is there any way to Reset it, I really dont want to loose all my pics and info .. PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP.... Thanks Desperate Blackberry Bold 9900 Lover'

More than likely you need to reload os with BB desktop software which means your data would be wiped

If it won't boot, I'm not aware of any method to save what's on the device.

Try going to Batteries + and getting a brand new battery. That worked for me.

how long are you waiting for it to fully reboot? sometimes mine will stall at 75% and when it does I keep waiting no more than 7 minutes and it does continue after that. Sometimes I do like you and pull the battery (If I really lose patience) and then it is faster to get to 75% and then it continues faster from there.

but it always completes if I wait long enough. I know it sucks
