Hooking up my bold to a pc crashed the computer using the mini usb cable.
I have the cable plugged into the pc at all times, and just plug/unplug my bold as i need. Upon inserting the mini-usb plug into the bold, my pc rebooted. The bold was unaffected and was innocently whistling dixie.
This happened on my previous bold a couple of times and for the first time on my replacement device.
Anyone else encounter this?
Is there a proper/safer way to plug/unplug the device from the pc?
