I purchased 2 bolds for US$99 each after rebates (letstalk.com) - new 2 year AT&T Family plan 700 plus unlimited BB data plan on both phones and Family messaging plan. I am also getting about US$100 back for turning in my old T-Mobile phones (3 RAZR's V3's, a Samsung, and a T-Mobile sidekick). My final out of pocket will be about $100 for 2 NIB bolds.
full $299 ATT price (the FAN discount was worth getting it through them) and worth EVERY penny. Best phone Ive ever used, and that says a lot since I go through 5-6 different models per year, you do the math. Much more stable than WM, MUCH better battery life than CDMA- got 2 full days with pretty decent usage which would NEVER happen on CDMA.
I paid $800 USD for my first Bold. Was it worth it? Definitely; I sold it for around 900. My current one? Honestly I can't remember what I paid or from whom I got it. When you have them coming in and out on a regular basis, that tends to be the norm.
99 the day it came out on O2
No discount on the handset prices even for an O2 employee
It is only 20 per month for 1000 mins unltd sms and unltd blackberry on a 12 month contract though
Ummm I think u'll find o2 have stopped doing 12months contracts they stopped them around about october 2008 I used to be on a 12montj contract but when it came to upgrading they told me I can't have a 12month contract because they don't do them anymore and iv been with o2 for 4yrs plus I'm a platium in customer rewards still no choice of a 12months contract unless its just avaliable to Empolyees I don't know...
