All of u guys got it for a low price...
    I got mine for $775.. (7milion rupiahs)
Bb's are really pricey here in indo..
I quite regret after knowing I can get it a lot way cheaper overseas...
But, this phone is really fantastic..
The only thing that bugs me is the battery life.

$349.99, out right. At my retail job, my general manager hooked me up! I didn't upgrade, add a line, nothing. I didn't even have to pay tax.

299 @ Best Buy + 9.99 a month x2 years for ultimate protection (I break it, as long as it isnt water or theft, and I get a new one).

Was the 300 worth it.. YES... blows my old 8320 out of the water

Water/liquid damage is OK for your Protection plan @ Best Buy, as long as your phone wasn't completely submerged in that water/liquid. I have that same protection plan as well.

I paid 420 for mine a month before it's release on T-Mobile UK. As a T-Mob tech support employee I pay nothing for my contract or BIS so it's paid for itself already, and I am still as in love with it as I was the day it arrived.

Am considering giving it the ninja treatment

I ported from Fido to Rogers. Paid $349 on the 2nd day of release. For the price, it was worth it for me, but I didn't expect Rogers to drop $100 in price after a month and then a bit more in October. Kind of choked about it, but I guess that's what happens when you want to be one of the first people to have a new gadget.

    $315 out the door.

I'm very happy with it except for the camera and lack of a true skype client (for now). I upgraded from a razor.

I get to show off the phone to my boss who has an iphone. I have a few more cool apps for free that are not available for iphone. Like the etrade stock trading app, the wall street journal reader, market filters, trapster, blackberry maps, push email, yahoo go.

He's always borrowing my phone during lunch to watch his stocks.

As far as the camera, it takes better pictures than his iphone in general, but the samples I've seen from the Storm are much better. Skype clients are availlable for the winmobi phones that use data only to make calls out. Not that I've ever run out of minutes, in fact I rollover minutes every month. But be kinda cool to call without using minutes.

I got mine for free - and no I'm not making it up.
Also got mine for free.. Was $199 with a free $200 gift card at Future Shop, and they let me apply the $200 gift card to the price of the phone, so it was $0!

Did I need it? No, My 1.5 year old Curve was just fine.
Same here... The Curve was fine, but I WANTED the darn Bold. It will be the same way with whatever new phone RIM comes out with.. LOL...

I had started towards the ATT store 2x and turned away both times telling myself 299 after rebate was too much and anyway I really liked my 8820...

The next day after my 2nd turn away I got a text message from ATT (free message) saying if I would go to a corporate store TODAY I could take up to $100 off any phone in the store (after extending my contract 2 years). That did it. But how did they know??? Slick marketing I guess.

So I got mine at $199 after discounts and rebates and LOVE this phone.

$649 from AT&T retail store with $100 rebate, already had a plan and did not upgrade... I hate to commit to a phone company.

Let me son have my 8300 and I can say that my Bold beats my Curve hands down, 16gig, 3G and wifi there is really no comparison. And I almost did not upgrade because the 8900 was coming out. Bah no need to wait, the Bold solved it all.

Got mine for free from work. Retail price here in AUS is just under $1000. I'd have to say i'm pretty lucky considering i paid nothing for it.

I'm loving this phone but I think I need a few interesting apps loaded on it - not sure what though.

I paid ~$450 after it was all said and done. I was upgrading from the AT&T Tilt, so it was almost worth that price alone to get out from under that brick of a phone. The fact that he Bold is such a quality device makes me have zero doubt that I made the right choice in upgrading to this phone.

I upgraded at AT&T, (for $399) filled out my rebate card. Was thinking I'd have around $299 + tax in the phone whne it was all said and done. Turns out, I had a problem with the phone so I had to return it. I then re-purchased the phone at Best Buy for $299 + tax. I thought for sure AT&T would void the re-bate since I returned the phone. Turns out my $100 rebate showed up 2 weeks later. Technically, I have $199 in the phone.

    I love the phone.

Every penny I spent was well worth my Bold. I couldn't be happier with my phone. $400 plus a $100 rebate! If my phone broke I would pay the full price again without a doubt. I was paying for the insurance though and I stopped that. I don't want to pay that and get a refurbished phone. I'd rather see if I can fix it myself.
