The title says it all basically.

I'm new to this site & I don't know what I'm doing at all!

I've had my blackberry bold 9000 on t-mobile for about a month or two, and I'm just now adding a data plan to it. Is there anything special I have to do? I also have no idea what "service books" are, so if your reply has anything to do with that, please explain! I know this all sounds vague, but I pretty much need as much info as I can get. I'm extremely noob to all of this & your help is greatly appreciated

I've seen both of those threads and I still don't understand to be honest.

The "just got your bold" post's link doesn't work. It says that the document has been deleted. and the unlocked thing is a bit confusing to me. It says in the note that if I'm not intermediate or at least used to dealing with blackberries, I shouldnt use it because it may mess up my phone so I just need someone to just help clear it up for me...
