Whenever i get any type of calls on my cell it displays as "Unknown Number" even if the name of the caller is stored on my phone.

Is there a solution? Help!

P.S Im using 9780 phone with OS 6.0.0.723 installed.

If it's unknown then the other person has their number on withheld.

Nope thats not the case. This is happening with every number. Even with my landline number which isnt a private one.

I am assuming you have tested this from a landline where you KNOW caller ID is in use?

If so, then I'd hassle your phone company and ask why Caller ID is not enabled for you. I don't think there is a setting in your phone that would have done this. It is more likely at a network level.

What carrier are you on? I believe some carriers do charge for caller ID.

I just shifted to Vodafone from Reliance.
I thought there was something wrong in my phone coz I have been trying out various OSes in the past 2-3 days. Lol!
