I lent a friend who's phone had died a Verizon BlackBerry 9650 I used to use until she could get another phone. She finally went and got a Samsung Galaxy 2 (I think...not familiar with Samsung so much)...and now she is freaked out because she doesn't know how to transfer her pictures from the 9650 to the Samsung.

Can someone smarter than me tell me an easy (I hope) way to do this? She wants to give the BB back to me...but I hate to see her lose all the pics of her kids!

Plug the 9650 into your computer and drag all the pics from the device memory or the sd card to your PC. Then put her pics on a removable drive and give it to her.

This morning she says that she has plugged the 9650 in several PC's here at work, and it won't pop up as recognized. The 9650 is deactivated, BTW since her Galaxy has been activated. Would that make a difference?

If the pics are on the device you need to install blackberry desktop to access the drive. if they are on the card just go into the settings and turn on usb mass mode.

So...if she installs BDM, and accesses the drive, she can drag/drop the pics from the phone onto the PC?
