Help with Question

Hello all, I have a quick question for someone. Thought I bought a Bold 9930 on eBay that was stuck in a boot loop. AppLoader won't detect it but when I start DM it is should that it is a Bold 9900 with a different pin that is listed underneath the battery.

Question 1: I think some ***** tried to flash the Bold 9900 software from Claro on the phone cause DM askes me to update it. Could this be stole and tried to change the IMEI?

Question 2: Can I undo the Bold 9900 flash or am I screwed?
