Hi blackberry experts ... I ran a sync with my laptop and lost everything off my blackberry including 400 odd sms which are work related and i need ... is it possible that they are still somewhere ... or that my previous settings are somewhere ... can I do a some sort of recover for the blackberry ... Ange

unfortunately unless you made a backup of the phone prior to the sync then it would all be gone. optus huh? fellow Aussie?

hmmmm ... bloody bloody .... ah well maybe i need to learn to just let go ... i never managed to get the sync to work properly on my pc thought i might have better luck on the laptop ... now its wiped clean... i wonder if optus can retrieve my sms's

its worth a try to contact optus. but i'm pretty sure it would be a breach of privacy laws for them to keep your sms'
