I ordered the Bold on Monday and received it on Tuesday. Paid $249 with a 2 year contract extension. I called VZW today after the price drop to $199 and asked for a credit. They said I would have to talk to a supervisor on Monday. Just wondering if anyone had gotten a credit?

I asked customer service about it when I had to call about activating my phone. She said they honor any price changes within 30 days of your purchase and she gave me a $50 credit. It is already on my bill.

The $199 price is only for people who had NE2 (which doesn't exist anymore)

The ACTUAL discounted price is $249.99, otherwise you'd be paying retail: $509.99

It is probably going to be $249.99 for about a year or so, I wouldn't recommend you getting your hopes up that it's going to cost you $199 (unless of course, you have NE2)

I got the 9930 for 199.99 because my wife gets a company discount. It is otherwise 249.99 for other consumers.

I got mine for $199 without NE2 because my NE2 wasn't available till 10/5. I do have an employee discount so I don't know if it was because of that.

i payed 249.00 Monday when i ordered the 9930 and called CS today and was told that it was still 249.00 and my company discount was for Accessories and plan discounts and not phone discount. I work for Weyerhaeuser if any one else works for them and got a better discount.

i paid $199 with my NE2. When I got my phone I had issues with activation and while getting that resolved I told CSR that I had seen where people were getting the phone for $199 without NE2 and asked what good was NE2? She came back after checking and said there was a new price and gave me a $50 credit. So my price with my $50 NE2 was $149.

After they sent me a bold with a defective radio and I was on the line with customer service and them apologizing about it getting the order together to send a replacement, they told me I would have to pay for the replacement either outright, or put it on the monthly bill, and the cost of the first one which was to be sent back would be refunded on receival of it. I took the opportunity to mention the price change to which they replied that because I got it when it was 250, that's what the price is, and they they can't refund the difference. I was disgruntled with them considering the fact that they not only sent me a bad unit first, and that I had to wait for the replacement but that they were charging me again, and the full boat. They said they could offer me one month of free data credit ($30). Verizon customer service sucks.

I'm a new vzw customer (march when t/bolt released) and was eligible for NE2. I do have employee discount though so maybe that's why. It was 199 for me.

I was due an upgrade on our business plan, and paid $149 on Monday, had the phone Tuesday. Not entirely sure how I got it for $149, but I wasn't going to complain!
