Guitar Tuner 1.0 How to use it?? Or any other free guitar tuner for BB Bold 9780?

Hi! I downloaded GT V1 from the link below, looking for a simple, free guitar tuner ( I don't need the whole shebang just something that gives me the tune of each string) but when I open the app it does nothing and after trying a few things cannot seem to get a tune. It is supposed to be compatible with my model the Bold 9780 but maybe I just cannot seem to find a way to make it sound (and yeah...The volume on my BB is on and audible, so that's been taken care of)
