OK, so there is only one 9900, right? One set of frequencies? What, besides carrier specific boot screens, does one give up if taking a phone from one carrier to another? Assuming it was "unlocked" at some point.

There are different frequencies for different carriers. If you use an att bold on tmobile, you won't get 3G and vice versa.

And the same goes for the Verizon too. For instance I had a storm that I unlocked and used on tmobile. I only was able to get edge speeds.
