Ive had my Curve 8520 for about 5 months now. I love it... when it comes to like, the software and the experience of it.. But I hate the size of it. Its too small for me. And its kind of getting slow some times. And the battery is ****.
I really really love the Bold 9000 because of the size of it. Its perfect. And its cheap too (so pls dont recommend those newer brands which has the same size).
My only concern is the memory. The os is just the same with curve 8520 right? so the only difference is the memory? how much apps do you bold 9000 users have on ur phone? My curve currently has facebook, docs to go, opera mini, some games etc.
Should I just stick with my curve 8520 or what?

If you want the same 5.0 os like your curve, than i can tell you : NOT enough memory.
I had the 9000 a year ago, was fine, bbry loaded the os5 but they told me memory Would be low. Actually os4 is better for the bold 9000.
I had about 10 mb of free memory.
This with os5, fb and twitter installed....
So... it is a great phone, but i would go with os 4.

I think you can go 9000 if you don't want a lot of added software. You should shrink the OS5 before installing, after a good shrink, I have 45 meg free. So look at the software you want to add and calculate if it is OK.
BTW the 5.0.0.1113 is stable and is memoty leak free.

So with OS4, the remaining memory on average would be 45mb?
In OS5, what do you think the remaining memory would be?
Also, is there not much difference with OS 4 to OS 5? Cause im used to OS5 and i dont want to be disappointed.
