Please help me out here, i have the at&t bold 9700 V.5.405 i tried to do the new OS upgrade that was released by att yesterday. It failed so i had to restore my device. Now i cant get my gmail folder to work. I have all my emails in separate boxes. They all come in separately except for the gmail which defaults into the general messages envelope. When i click on the Gmail envelope nothing happens and my 9700 freezes up. Somebody please advice me. i have deleted and added the gmail email several times and it's still not working.
Sounds like something did not get loaded correctly... backup everything, and then download and install BBSAK... use BBSAK to Wipe your device and then reload your OS... I'm thinking you might want to remove the OS, reboot your PC, download and install the OS again (fresh, don't just reinstall from the old EXE file) before you start this process. Then reload your data from your backup files.
