how do i set up my phone to where the vibrate and the ring happen simultaneously.. just on phonecalls not for messages.

Well now I don't know which one to use.

I got 4 people whose opinions I value and 2 of them say Vin&Ring while the other 2 say BuzzMe.

Well Vib and Ring you have to pay for. Buzz me is free.

But with Vib and Ring you can set the duration of each vibrate and amount of times it vibrates and the duration between each vibrate.

Its also pretty cheap too.

I say if you dont mind spending a couple of dollars get Vib and Ring.

Fabian is also a pretty cool guy too. You should support him.

So, after numerous device releases and OS upgrades can't RIM program this little slice of code?

They are really clever at everything else.

Its the same sort of story as "no cut and paste on an iphone"

I like buzzme because it works on everything that rings and vibrates without configuring anything and it's free.

Vibandring you have to set your profile to tone only and if your ringtone is shorter than the ring duration, your tone only plays once but the vibration continues to the end. Other than that it's more configurable than Buzzme though. But free + easy to setup + works with short tones is why I use Buzzme even though I bought Vibandring.
