    Should be, as long as you have a bis plan.
    I get my 9650 emails via wifi.

    If you're not paying for a service, why would you expect your carrier or rim to provide it?
    There might be some apps to help you with that but I don't know what apps to get for it.

    But many phones are able to get your email through wifi network?

    BlackBerrys get email by sending it through RIM's servers (bis). So if you don't pay for the server (bis) you don't get the email.
    But like I said, there's probably an app you can buy for this.

    You cant get push email through wifi but you could always login to your email providers website to check your email through wifi and the browser
