How about it lucky owners? Some first impressions? Speed, performance, app installation, build quality, etc?

    LOVE IT.

    - Super Fast
    - AMAZING KEYBOARD

The two things above combined make it a must buy if you want a device with a front facing keyboard.

    - LOVE the fact it now has a touchscreen. Feels weird to go back to my 9780 and not be able to tap
    - Build quality seems good. No issues on my unit.

More to come... (on the blogs from me)

hey kevin, strange that this thing is in the public hands before any major tech blog has done a review? albeit, seems like only canada and only rogers at this point...

I bet all the major blogs (including Crackberry) have had review units and a review written up for a few days now and are waiting for the embargo date to be lifted to publish. Chances are the embargo date is official launch day.

Just bought mine about an hour ago from a Rogers store.

Anyone know where the Wikitude browser is located? I can't seem to find it and it isn't coming up in the search menu. Aren't all of them supposed to come with it preloaded?

YEP. VERY STRANGE. Not to impressed. Super happy I got my hands on on one of course, but not happy with how this has played out so far from that perspective.

Okay so I have to say, I just played with a unit at a bell kiosk and it was the nicest phone I've ever held in my life. It will blow you away just how thin it is when you first hold it. The keyboard is amazing to type on and feels bigger than my old 9000. It honestly feels spectacular. In terms of sexiness it makes the iPhone 4 look like Susan Boyle.

Plus it doesn't seem to want to read my 2GB scandisk media card from my 9780... don't know what more to do.

I already saw one at kijiji for $900?!?!?

I'm still undecided but it's pretty weird to go back to Bold 9900 since 9000 was my very first BlackBerry/Smart Phone.

BTW, thanks Kevin for posting the unboxing video.

Kevin, can you see how many apps you can put on the blackberry please? It seems not very much at 188mb (something like that) ? What happens if you surpass that, does it automatically store on the memory card?

Let me pause to wipe the drool. lol. Lucky! How does it compare in speed to the 9780? Is OS 7 a major improvement? What are the graphics like? Bah, I wish I could afford an upgrade. So jealous!

Ha! Poor SuBo. Can't catch a break.

Earlier somebody compared a phone to a transvestite, now to SuBo...

    You people are unforgiving!
