    Depends on carrier as it is firmware based, TMO back in the day had it their firmware.

    So yes it is capable, but again depends on carrier support.

    Also:

    You have to unlock that BB first if its not supported by the carrier you buy it from, other then TMO.

    OR

    Its capable, you will have to do some research and hacking of the firmware. The reason why is because TMO is the only carrier that has it in their firmwares back in the day.

    I put my 9000 in the shop to see if they could fix it today. They have 15 programs to fix BlackBerry's but still couldn't get it working.

    Now I have a new 9000 that doesn't work which I'll probably have to give away for silly money.

    I'm thinking of buying a cheap poor condition 9000 then swapping the parts over.

    At this stage I'm unsure if all 9000's are the same. I've heard the 9900's have two different screens so need the new 9000 to have the same interchangeable parts.
