I had to cough up 425$ - 100$ rebate though. The 199.99 expired June 30th. :/ I know right? Well, It doesn't matter! I love my bold so far! The screen is brillant and it is 394322321 times louder then my iPhone which is weird. Any tips for a new bold owner?

If you want maximize battery turn off location services and lower screen brightness. Go into phone app and turn of "dailing from homescreen" and then if you press b it opens browser and m opens messenger and so on. That's all I can think of for now, enjoy your amazing new phone<3

If you run into any problems like freezing, slugishness, take the battery out while the device is on. That fixes lots of issues.

Whenever you're done with an app, always press menu> close. Don't just back out of the app.

Blackberry Messenger is great and exclusive to BB users.

    Welcome.

download app world and google maps. once you have app world on, get Quickpull, pandora or slacker, facebook, Viigo and of course the crackberry shortcut.

you can get a replacement bezel for fairly cheap off of your favorite auction site, rhymes with ashtray. A black bezel and side buttons are hot.

    that should get you started.

I just got a bold too, and I love it.

just like others have said, upgrade to .282.

download some apps that you like. Look into getting some themes.
I found a lot, and find it easy if you find OTA downloadable themes.
    I went here http ://blackberryvids.com/free-themes/free-blackberry-bold-themes/

and downloaded the android 2 theme. I like it so far.

Afterwards, I decided to get some movies to watch on my bold when I am on break at work. There are some great movies here
    http ://forums.crackberry.com/f66/my-first-movies-post-194778/

Thats all I know so far.

You can put some music on your bold too.

For movies and music, you can just plug your bold into your computer, set as mass storage device and then drag and drop your music or video files into the appropriate folders on your sd card in your bold.

Ick I hate using phones as a music player. I don't know why.. Maybe because I use my phone for calling people and for txt, etc.. The music player would just drain my battery.

I just ordered a Bold for my husband online with Walmart. It was $99 with a $99 mail in rebate on a current family plan. You can not beat free!!

I tried to see if Costco or AT&T would match the price know they wouldn't. The guy at Costco looked online at Walmart as I don't think he believed me even though I had a print out. He was so shocked and excited, that he said he was going to order one for himself!!
