Filename won't go away

I think I have a corrpt file on my Device memory (not the memory card). I cannot seem to delete. A file with .asp extension is in my video folder. If I try to open with the video player I get the error message: Uncaught exception: java.lang.illegalArgumentException. I am unable to select and delete in the media app. I can see the file using the Files application but cannot select for deletion there either. Any thoughts how to remove?
