I have a Blackberry Bold 9000. When I delete all my emails, the machine indicates that I have 88 emails remaining. Please, how can I drop that indication back to zero?

Open Messages>Highlight a date>Menu>Mark Prior Opened. Try that.

The latest date that I can highlight is 12th April 2018. I have tried that but nothing happens. Any other suggestions?

I have found the answer myself by trial and error. Went into "messages" ; clicked on "view saved messages". Loads came up so I selected them all and then deleted them; now back to zero.
