The source net.rim.tunnel hints at VPN tunneling although I'm not certain. That would tend to suggest it is unlikely to be a phone number. AFAIK nobody outside Blackberry support really knows how to interpret the logs.
Thanks for the reply. Any idea how a phone number would present in the event log (Alt-LGLG)?
A phone call appears like this:
Name: PhoneApp
GUID: dda0bc913b6aaeec
Time: Mar 17, 2013 00:43:45
OCC calling +17734XXXX61
That wasn't edited. The phone number is displayed just as I posted.
Here's a complete log from start to finish:

is anyone aware if event logs can be retrieved? i deseperately need to prove an application was accessed on my device at a certain day/time but only have one days worth of logs?? Thanks
You might be able to do a search. But usually it's the days log
The Event Log is only a 400kb file. Once it's full, older files get replaced with newer ones. So when they're gone, they're gone for good.
